Know Your City
My friend and I were searching for a place where we can pose for our #OOTD photo sesh around Mango Avenue and we passed by this place where old photos of Cebu years ago were framed. I forgot the name of the resto bar (my bad) but I'm pretty sure that they serve Tuslob-Buwa. These antique photos made me love and appreciate Cebu more because of its origin and history.

All The Rage: Fashion Inspirations
"Clothing is a form of self-expression - there are hints about who you are in what you wear."
- Marc Jacobs
I'm not a fashion blogger or fashion critique but here I am doing this blog post about fashion inspiration because I want to lol, the reason why I came up with this topic is I have a Facebook page: Chasing Happiness. The page contains a world of limitless possibilities - from fashion, beauty, music, food, travel, adventures to life, love, passion and inspirations. Its goal is to make an avenue for everyone to collaborate different ideas. Everyone is very much welcome to share their stories, adventures, fave food, music or anything they are passionate about.
I've realized that girls talk a lot about fashion so I started "hunting" for "Fashion Inspirations". So starting today, I'll be posting All The Rage: Fashion Inspirations weekly.
Whether your style is basic or classic, these awesome femmes shared some tips on how to rock your #OOTD.

Bring out the gypsy soul in you with Calico.ph
Since Francine and I are boho/gypsy sisters and we both love accessories, we decided to make our own and share it to gypsy souls out there by selling our products online. We called our shop Calico.ph. It was suggested by my boyfriend El after he heard Francine and I discussing the name of our online shop.

Dress To Impress: Guide to Pick an #OOTD For Your Job Interview
Yesterday, I had a job interview (I'll tell you what company it is, soon) It's one of my dream companies.I hope I'll get the job. Please pray for me ☻
Actually, I wore a blazer during my interview because duh? Everyone needs to wear a formal attire on a job interview. But I removed it right after because it was too hot . I asked Francine to bring me a cover-up or kimono because my outfit was too sexy to go out and wander around so she lend me this kimono and I swear to God, it's so comfortable to wear ❤️
Since I mentioned about job interview might as well share some tips on what to wear on a job interview. #Feelingfashionblogger. Don't worry! I'm gonna share some tips on how to rock a job interview too in a separate post ❤
By the way, you should not wear your cover-ups like that during your interview, okay? Duh?
This is the time when "Dress to Impress" is appropriate because arguably your outfit plays a vital role in dictating the final outcome of your interview. Same with when you buy a product, the packaging will catch your attention first and that's the time you'll be interested to buy that certain product. When you're applying for a job, the product is you - you are selling yourself. And take note just because you dress nicely and you look good, it doesn't mean you're dressed well for an interview. There's a huge difference. It's not about looking great, it's about looking great for the job. True, people shouldn't be judging books by their covers but your party-ready look or basic-er look may give your interviewer an impression that you are not the career-minded professional they are looking for.
You should have a corporate attire in your closet because it is important most especially when you are looking for a job or when you already have a job because you never know when you need it. It's like having a first aid kit in your house.
Overdress rather than under dress. Its best to play safe. Under dressing gives you an impression that you are not serious about wanting the job because you're not putting effort.
Go with more professional and conservative look. Always remember that revealing clothes are distracting.
Your dress or top should not be low necked, see-through or sleeveless. When it is sleeveless then wear blazer, sweater or kimono.
Skirts should be pencil skirt or A-line but not too tight or too short where it would be hard for you to sit down or move around and the slit should not be too high. You don't want to expose your underwear, right?
Slacks should be loose but not baggy, straight cut and not tight-fitting and go for neutral or pastel colors.
So those are the tips that I can give. How about you? Share your tips on the comment box below

FLOWY TOP : thrift-shop downtown
SKATER SKIRT: SM Ladies Wear
SANDALS: Bought it online
I'm not really into fashion, in fact I' am a lazy dresser. I just wear whatever I want, depending on my mood, the location I' am going to or the event that I will be attending.
According to Alexander Roach, "you should just wear something you feel comfortable in. It's important to make a statement, but don't kill yourself over it."
Here are the reasons why you should wear ONLY.COMFORTABLE.CLOTHES:
1. A comfortable outfit can help you feel self-assured. You don't want to go out feeling conscious and uncomfortable with your outfit right?
2. NOBODY deserves to have WARDROBE MALFUNCTION. Do you want to experience what celebrities experienced? Nip-slip, showy underwear and more. As much as they want to wear comfortable outfits but they have to wear uncomfortable outfit sometimes because its part of their job to wear the latest designer outfits.
3. Your discomfort will be really obvious like pulling at your dress hem or fixing something every now and then.
4. An awkward outfit may destroy your day because you want to go home early even if you are very eager to hang out with your friends because you are not comfortable of what you are wearing.
5. Even if it came from Forever21, H&M or People are People if you are not comfortable wearing it then it wont look good on you.
Do you agree? Or not? What are your rules when it comes to fashion? Share your thoughts :)

Bought this fedora for a very affordable price at Sm Accesories :) Experimentation is the key. Wear what makes you feel comfortable. Add some accessories to make your simple outfit not so boring then you're good to go :D
PS: Been LSS-ing with the song Clarity by Zedd thanks to El Nino Rod who keeps on singing the song whenever we're together. Here's the link of the song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4WE9s9oBqM
That's all thank you.
Big Love,
