Since Francine and I are boho/gypsy sisters and we both love accessories, we decided to make our own and share it to gypsy souls out there by selling our products online. We called our shop Calico.ph. It was suggested by my boyfriend El after he heard Francine and I discussing the name of our online shop.
We want to come up with something unique and something boho-ish, I suggested to call it Kau'wela, Hawaiian word for summer but according to them and I agree, it would be hard for the customers to remember the name of the shop. Calico as defined by Merriam Dictionary, it means
1.) cotton cloth imported from India
2.) a cheap cotton fabric with figured patterns
Though the first batch of our products are gypsy charms and there's no connection with cloth, we still want to name it Calico because it sounds cute and boho-ish.
Let me show you our gypsy charms:
" Moon dust in your lungs
stars in your eyes ⭐️ You are a child of the cosmos, ruler of the sky ☁️ "
Angel White Ajoite
Athena
Pocahontas
