Persephone

We are asked to impersonate a Greek gods/goddesses in our English 3 class. The presentation will serve as our midterm exam. I want to impersonate these goddesses but we need to choose one:
Aphrodite: goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and procreation. ( but when our teacher told us about this impersonation thingy most of the girls want to impersonate aphrodite)

Athena:  is the goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, just warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill. (she's too beautiful and sweet)

Persephone: goddess of harvest and the queen of underworld. (idk why but everytime we talk about Gods and Goddesses i highlight the love story of Persephone and Hades)

Maybe i will choose Persephone because her goodness and badness are balance. She' s the queen of underworld but flower symbolizes her. I admire her because she believes in true love even if her mother would not allow her talk about love and marriage. Love seemed to be something denied to her. She's a true friend to Hermes.

Here is the excerpt of Persephone that i revised :
iam the queen of the underworld and the goddess of harvest. iam Persephone daughter of Zeus and Demeter. Long ago there is no separation of seasons, just never ending crops. I loved my home dearly, i longed everyday to see more of the world. I love the sun, the flower, the sky, the butterflies, the trees, the birds but sometimes the constant attention of my mother demeter would annoy me. I longed for freedom, i longed for someone who i could share my life with until I was abducted by Hades the god-king of the underworld. By the time Hades brought me to the underworld all i did was to cry. The underworld is very different from the world where i grew. No sun, no sky, no flowers, no butterflies, no birds but Hades told me that i shouldnt be sad because he will give me everything i want, as in everything and he will make me his queen so i agreed. One day my mother Demeter found out that I was abducted by Hades, she got mad, very mad that he told my father Zeus she will not let any fruits grow until i'll be returned, my father Zeus got scared so he sent Hermes to the underworld to take me home. When Hermes arrived at the Underworld, he explained everything to Hades but Hades disagreed. I was confused, very confused the reason why i ate 6 pomegranates even though Hades warned me not to eat any fruits there. The reason why I need to my six months in the Underworld with Hades and another 6 months in the world with my mother Demeter. Yes, iam the reason why winter and spring exist. I also help the new souls find their way to peace. So whenever you need me, just call me Persephone and i will help you find your way to peace ;)
