I just noticed that most of my escapades lately were in Aloguinsan:
[/] Bojo River
[/] Hermit's Cove
and now
[/] Hidden Beach Resort
Whenever we plan to have an out-of-town escapade, I always end up in Aloguinsan. No regrets though because the place has a lot to offer. Anyways, let me share with you guys our recent trip in Aloguinsan specifically in Hidden Beach Resort.
As usual, I asked the gang to be in South Bus Terminal at exactly 7am so that we will arrive in Aloguinsan early because the next trip would be 11 am pa. Good thing, the gang were good in following instruction. Our first stop was in the wet market to buy food.

On our way to beach each each
Then to Hidden Beach Resort. It is a white sand beach with crystal clear waters facing Negros Island hidden under the edge of a cliff in a remote barangay in Aloguinsan.
This is what it looks like before you'll reach the sea shore.

Meet the gang: Earl aka James Reid, Gian, Edmund, Fran and El.
If you are just planning to stay a few hours, just like what we did, I recommend you to bring your own food and pay Php 15.00 only for the entrance fee and Php 150.00 for the rental of wooden tables and chairs. But if you want to have a cottage, you could rent out an open air bamboo cottages for Php 300.00. And if you want to stay overnight they offer cottages that are good for 4 pax at Php 600,00, fan-rooms that is good for 2 pax at Php 600 or you can add Php 300 if you want to be in an air conditioned-room and tents for rent at Php 300.00 or you can bring your own. Changing/shower rooms are available but you need to pay Php 10 per bucket of water. Grilling station is available too.
While we were having our photo ops, the boys were playing Frisbee.
Unlike the Western people who enjoys sun bathing, we Filipinos don't enjoy it that's why we bring umbrellas whenever we go to the beach but in this paradise you do not need to because there are lots of coconut trees that provide a natural shade for the whole day. Here's a tip: bring a mat or banig, a book and a hammock and you will have the most relaxing adventure. For example:
Aside from its budget-friendly accommodation, the resort is unique because the beach is hidden by coral rocks and there is no improvements have been made, you just experience its natural beauty. You will also get to see several sea creatures like crabs, shellfish, starfish and sea urchins on the shoreline.
Here's an itinerary:
Bus: Cebu to Aloguinsan and vice versa Php 80.00
Habalhabal (from Aloguinsan Market to Hidden Beach and vice versa) Php 20.00
Table and chair Rental (we chipped in for this) Php 150.00
Changing/Shower room fee Php 10.00
If you want to have a peaceful and relaxing getaway then you have to try this place. <3
Love,
M
